- Once the screws are removed, lift the bottom case off and set it aside.
- Locate the battery and disconnect the battery cable from the logic board.
- Remove the screws that secure the battery to the top case and carefully lift the battery out.
- Install the new battery and secure it with the screws.
- Reconnect the battery cable to the logic board.
- Replace the bottom case and secure it with the screws.
