How to Add An SSD To The 27" iMac (Late 2015).

 

Spare USB port using a USB to SATA cable (included in ALL kits). The new SSD needs to be screwed into an Adaptadrive bracket. Why do you need this bracket? The SSD is 2.5", the old iMac drive is 3.5" so the holes to fasten it to the iMac will not line up, you need an Adaptadrive bracket.

 To get service for your iMac, you can make a reservation at an Apple Store or an Apple Service Provider, if you have a repiar iMac, contact us an Apple Repair Center.
